Johnnie was born in Knoxville on April 7, 1927. She was an honorable employee of the infamous Dollywood for 32 years. She has been on local television for many years and even on Good Morning America this year. She loved Dolly and everything about Dollywood and helping people. Johnnie never missed 1 day of work in all that time at Dollywood. She was a great friend to many and an Angel to those who knew her well. Johnnie would always tell Tyler and Bo to always be kind to everyone you meet because you may be entertaining an Angel . Little did she know , that's what she was to us all the time. Johnnie grew up during the Great Depression and learned how to survive on very little. She was tough and gentle. She would wake up at 4:30 every morning and walk her dog Gypsie. She loved to work, stayed happy and ate what she wanted, including tomato and mayonnaise sandwiches. She will be missed by so many. FRIENDS WILL BE RECEIVED WEDNESDAY THE 22 of December 2021 at 10 am to 12 pm with the funeral service directly after at Berry Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
