MARK HUBBELL
February 1, 1946 - December 18, 2021

LEWISVILLE - Mark Toms Hubbell, 75, passed away at his home in rural Fayette County early Saturday morning December 18th, 2021.

Mark was born in New Castle, Indiana on February 1st, 1946, to the late Glenn and Margaret (Toms) Hubbell. A lifelong resident of Fayette County, Mark attended Bentonville and Harrisburg Schools, and was a 1964 graduate of Connersville High School.

Mark attended Ball State University and Earlham College before being drafted into the United States Army. While in the Army, Mark served in Europe and received their highest security clearance in Communications and was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Mark was a lifelong farmer and worked several other jobs throughout his life which included Philco-Ford-Connersville, Chrysler Corporation-New Castle, MEG-Cambridge City, and ECL Trucking for 17 years delivering mail for the United States Postal Service. He was recognized by ECL with a Million Mile Safety Award.

In Mark's spare time, he enjoyed time with family, antique tractors and outdoors cutting firewood.

Mark was a man of faith and lifelong member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge #72 F.& A.M., for which he held several degrees of leadership including, "Worshipful Master".

Mark was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease several years ago, a therapy he benefited greatly from was the Rock Steady Boxing program.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 27 years, the former Gilda Diane Warner. They were married in Conroe Texas on February 12th, 1995; four children, Jason Hubbell, Amanda (Jeff) Aldridge, Jennifer (Michael) Moore, and Douglas (Julie) Jones; six grandchildren, Dalton, Alayna, Bethany, Megan, Sarah, and Eli; nephew, David and Susan Hubbell and their sons Jack and Austin; cousin, Alan Golliher.

Mark was preceded in death by a brother, John C. Hubbell on August 19th, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 23rd, 2021, at Bentonville-Ebenezer Church, Lewisville Indiana 47352.

Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday December 22nd at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin where online condolences can be made at www.marshallanderleweinfuneralhome.com
