Carolyn was the daughter of Harvey McDonald and Irene Powell McDonald. She owned and operated L & L Supply for over 10 years. A wonderful cook, she was most famous for her biscuits, Brunswick stew and barbecue sauce. She enjoyed working in the yard, planting and nurturing flowers and vegetables and spent a great amount of time outdoors. She especially enjoyed hunting deer or hogs with her children or grandchildren.
She and her husband, Charles, helped to found and Pastor the Perry Church of God in Perry, Georgia for 30 years. She served as Sunday School Teacher, Clerk and Bible School Director.
She was married to Rev Charles Daniel Lamb for 65 years. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Charles Daniel "Danny" Lamb Jr and Edward "Keith" Lamb, 1 grandson, Kyle Lamb, 1 son-in-law, Leon Allen and 2 brothers, Gene McDonald and Willie McDonald.
Survivors:
2 Daughters: Pat Allen and Dianne Lee(Doug).
6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 3:00PM in the Perry Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Perry, Georgia.
