Sandra J. Moreland, 83, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest December 18, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.

Sandra Jean Ledford was born May 29, 1938 in Seneca, MO the daughter of Otis and Georgia (Stout) Ledford. Sandra was a lifelong resident of the area. She attended Seneca High School. She retired from Eagle Picher in Seneca after 22 years. She worked in many areas of the plant and when she retired she was working in the office as a Secretary. Sandra loved spending time with her family, great-grandchildren and with her dear friend Carl Taylor. Sandra was a faithful member of the Hottel Springs Church of Christ. She was a member of the Eastern Star – Neosho and served as (Past Worthy Matron).

Sandra Jean Ledford married Jim Moreland October 1, 1955 in Baxter Springs, KS and he preceded him in death May 29, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Cheryl Stark; one brother, Jerry Ledford and one sister, Linda Flory.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Kelley and Stan, Cassville, MO and Kathy Pogue and Ronnie, Seneca, MO; One brother, Dan Ledford, Orville, CA.; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a host of extended church family and friends.
