William Gene Caldwell, 88, Grove, OK, passed away December 19, 2021 at West Gate of Wildwood after a long illness.

William Gene Caldwell was born April 19, 1933 in Wann, OK the son of Alva and Esther "Esie" (Weston) Caldwell. Bill graduated from Coffeyville High School and went to Long Beach Junior College. Bill proudly served this country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He formerly worked as a Postal Clerk, in an aircraft facility and carpentry. He loved hunting, fishing, model planes and wood working. Bill moved to Grove, OK 1992 from Wichita, KS. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

William G. Caldwell married Jeannine Ann Fry July 13, 1953 in Coffeyville, KS and she preceded him in death June 1, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Rickey Caldwell and David Caldwell; three sisters, Virginia Paquette, Doris Maxine Kerns and Mary Jane Kitchens.

Bill is survived by one daughter, Sheila Caldwell, Winfield, KS; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
