Nancy Ruthe Jackson Cox, 75 of Trenton went to be with The Lord on Saturday December 18, 2021 in the comfort of her home. She originally is from the Flintstone area and had lived in Winter Haven Florida until her and her husband John moved back to North Georgia in 2019. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Trenton, Ga.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Miles Sr. & Geneva Jackson; and sister Pat Crampton.
Nancy is survived by her husband of over thirty years John Cox; children Lisa (Kenneth) Bishop, Matthew (Michelle) Cooke, Tammy (Cary) Thompson, Tyra (Robert Croft) Rodgers; siblings Cynthia (Robert) Cooke, Miles (Brenda) Jackson Jr.; along with 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday December 20, 2021 and Tuesday before the service in the parlor of the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 21, 2021 in the Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Louis Rouse officiating. A burial will follow at Lakewood South Memory Gardens in Rossville.
