Ricky Lynn Gibson, 56, of Lanesville, died Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born August 27, 1965, in New Albany, to the late Robert E. and Josephine L. Hussung Gibson.
He was a supervisor for the U. S. Postal Service in Louisville, Kentucky and was a U. S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Brandon Lee Gibson.
Survivors include his wife, Hope Allison Rhodes Gibson; his son, Brayden Levi Gibson; his daughters, Shelby Lyn Rhodes and Alexis Brooke Gibson; his brothers, Brian D. and Gregory K. Gibson; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Norman Lasley will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
