Mary June Ferrell Simon Mullins, 79, of Williamson, WV, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Tug Valley Regional Medical Center, South Williamson, KY. Mary was born January 17, 1942, at Canada, KY, the daughter of the late Eugene and Ruby May Ferrell. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Simon, her second husband, Thurman Mullins and her special friend, Foster Gillman.
Mary worked for Justice Drive Inn for 12 years. She loved animals, to dig for ginseng and buying gifts for children. Survivors include her son, John Eric (Stella Loretta) Simon of Williamson, WV; her siblings; Bill (Wanda) Ferrell of Speedwell, TN, Danny Ferrell of Canada, KY, Shirley (Roger) Wellman of Canada, KY, Susan (Tom) Ludema of Pigeon Forge, TN, and Karen (Donald) Bragg of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Jeremiah Seth Simon, Zachariah Cain Simon, Divini Skye Simon and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, beginning at 2 PM at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home chapel, with Bo Scott officiating. Burial will follow at the Chapman Cemetery Canada, KY, with Mary's family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6-9 PM at the funeral home. R.E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, KY is serving the Mullins family.
