POWERS -- Adolph Herman Seybold, 80, of N15083 U.S. 41, Powers, died Thursday, Dec. 27, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility, where he had lived for the past seven months.
He was born March 26,1910, in Waiblingen, Wurttemburg-Baden-Baden, Germany, son of Frederick and Katherine (Schneitmann) Seybold and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1923. He lived in Sheboygan, Wis., until his marriage to the former Helen Kay Klekot Jan. 25, 1934, when they moved to Milwaukee.
Mr. Seybold was an industrial decorator employed by a number of commercial decorating contractors. He and his wife moved to Powers in 1945, where he later worked at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility, retiring in 1976.
Survivors include: his wife, Helen; one son, David of Ann Arbor; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Deckon of Milwaukee and Mrs. Marie Foshag of Sheboygan, Wis; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. CST Saturday at Kell-Tondin Funeral Home in Spalding. Funeral services will be held at 7p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Joseph Polakowski officiating. Burial will be in Spalding Township Cemetery.
