Phyllis and Howard Thompson were married on July 4th. To this union there were three children born. Howard preceded her in death in 2010 after 60 plus years of marriage. She was a unique individual collecting old dishes, doing home interior decorating and cleaning, and she was a social butterfly. She loved talking to people and having random conversations. Her true love were animals, especially cats. She was born around cats, had them her whole life, including when she passed away. Because of her love for cats and animals, memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs or any animal shelter of your choice.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard Thompson; and son Edward Thompson in 2004. Survivors include her daughter Alice Hagerman; son Harold M. Thompson; granddaughter Cari; and great grandchildren Noah, Rachel and Amanda.
