Joanna Jones, 85, formerly of Southfield, Michigan passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016, at her home in Hudson, Michigan. She was born January 30, 1931, in Blanchard, Michigan the daughter of John and Lillian (Fountain) Sevenski. Joanna retired from General Motors in Livonia in 1988, with over 25 years of service and after retirement she worked at Canterbury Restaurant in Redford, Michigan for 20 years. She dearly loved her family especially her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all. Surviving Joanna are three sons, two sisters, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Pauline McQuithey and one brother, Jack Sevenski. At Joanna's request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson.
