she was a faithful longtime member of Chapel Hill M.B. church where she served diligently in multiple roles. She was well known for her gentle and loving spirit, her constant beautiful smile, and her delightful sense of humor which will all be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Henry Jenkins of Water Valley, MS, a son, Jacova Jenkins of Oxford, MS, a daughter, Dekesha Jenkins of Water Valley, MS, a mother, Cordie Mae Walton of Water Valley, MS, a sister, Martha Walton Water Valley, MS, aunts Bertha Hampton and Jessie Mix of Memphis, TN, aunts Mattie Mix of Minnesota, and Earlene Gilliard of Oxford, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, in-laws, church family and friends. Even though she did not have any biological grandchildren she had a numerous amount of special sons and daughters whom she was actively involved with in their lives.
She was preceded in death by her father Jack Walton, sister Ruby Walton Armstrong, brother James Russell Walton, grandparents Lillian and Jerry Mix and Katherine Walton Stein, and her nieces Heather Walton and Whitney Turner.
The family appreciates everyone's thoughts and prayers during this time.
