He is preceded in death by parents Marion and Bertha Peels Martin, brothers Hoyt and Hobert Martin, sisters Omie Martin and Mary Bell Moore. He was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include to brothers, two sisters, and several nieces & nephews
