Irene Collins Brown, age 68, of Richmond, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at Baptist Health – Richmond.
Mrs. Brown, the daughter of the late Esmer and Dempsey Cain Collins, was born in Estill County on July 13, 1953. She had worked for Telford Terrace. She enjoyed her flowers and loved music. Her greatest joy was caring for all her family. She will be remembered as a beautiful soul.
She united in marriage to Denzel Brown who preceded her in death on July 3, 2019.
Survivors include her two sons: Ronnie Allen (& Lisa) Collins of Gaston, SC and Dennis Shawn Collins of Waco; three daughters: Tammie Collins Casey of Richmond, Julia Nicole Brown and Leona Sophia Brown both of Columbus, OH; two brothers: Paul (& Loretta) Collins and Esmer "Junebug" (& Clara) Collins, Jr.; four sisters: Doralice Smith, Dorothy (& Jerry) Eddington, Edith (& Johnny) Babb and Imogene (& Richard) Osbourne; nine grandchildren: Trevor Allen Collins, Taylor Michelle Bowsman, Tesla Irene Jean Collins, Dylan Shawn Michael Collins, Randy Liam Collins, Axel Emmitt Wayne Collins, Xander Cage Rose Collins, Nikki Michelle (& Travis) Combs and Marry Irene Jeffers; four great grandchildren: Gracie Sizemore, Greyson Sizemore, Jolene Michelle Walden and Colton Aaron Minton and several nieces and nephews.
Irene was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Rader.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Anthony Cruse and Bro. Tanner Cruse officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Collins, Trevor Collins, Harold Babb, Johnny Babb, Travis Combs, Paul Collins, Jr. and Tanner Cruse.
