Wanda Faye Davis, 87, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Nursing and Rehabilitation at Good Shepard in Little Rock, Arkansas. The daughter of William and Frances Bateman Smith, she was born February 26, 1934 in Mountain Top, Arkansas. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Russellville. Wanda enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and lifelong friends. Wanda's most proud moment, outside of her family, were her trips to New York City as a fashion buyer for Weaver's Department Store in Lawrence, Kansas. She carefully detailed each trip in her journals. This all fit in with her childhood dream of growing up in Ozark of someday living in New York City and working in a dry goods store. Wanda spend her summers at Lake Tenkiller for the annual Davis Family Reunion along with trips to Branson with her dear friends, Sonny and Sarah Peters. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Davis; her parents; a son, Rodney Allen Davis; two sisters, Marie Robertson and Jewell Nadine Smith.

Wanda is survived by her son, Roger Davis (Janet); four granddaughters, Kelli Phippen (Travis); Tiffany Bonham (Danny); Nicole Moilanen (Marcus); Tara Balkey (Michael); two grandsons, Brandon Davis (Amberlee); Cameron Davis (Ashley); eight great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
