Diana Watkins-Taylor, age 64 of Laurel, DE passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Tidal Health Nanticoke, Seaford, DE. She was born September 9, 1957, in Seaford, DE, daughter of the late to Harley G Watkins, Jr. and Madeline Watkins. She was also predeceased by her husband Charles W. Taylor in 2011.
For many years she worked as an inspector forth DuPont Company. Later she worked for many years in the meat department at the Seaford Save A Lot grocery store. However, most of her time was devoted to taking care of her parents during their later years. She was an avid gardener and always had a meticulous display of floral delights around her yard. Also, shopping was a treat that she could be found doing in her free time. However, spending time with her new grandson Scott Jr. brought her the most enjoyment.
She is survived by her son Scott N. Williams-Watkins and wife Megan and their son Scott of Laurel, DE; a brother Barry Wilson of Laurel, DE and her sister Debbie Jason (Robert) of Nashville, Tennessee.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Un Cemetery, Bethel, Delaware. Viewing will be held on October 28, 2021, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Watson-Yates Funeral Home, a Parsell Family Funeral Home, 609 East King Street, Seaford, DE 19973.
