OBITUARY

Graham, Charles Alden Graham, Linda Lu Our brother, Charlie, passed away of a stroke November 29, 2021, at age 77 in Anchorage, Alaska. His wife, Linda, passed away five days later on December 4 of cancer. Charlie graduated from Bloomington High School, Minnesota, in 1962 and attended University of Denver. At age 20, he moved to Cooper Landing, Alaska, but later settled in Hope. He worked on the Alaska Pipeline and loved the outdoors. Charlie married Linda on June 5, 1977 in Hope. They farmed and raised three children, Steve, Lora and Kimberley. Linda raised money for the emergency medical service. She ran the Hope & Sunrise Wagon Trail Run and served as Hope's postmaster for 34 years. Charlie volunteered on the Hope Chamber of Commerce, managed the cemetery records, plowed snow, delivered firewood and helped keep his neighbors' vehicles running. He helped rebuild Hope's historic social hall. They were good citizens who loved their community. Ceremonies will be held in Hope in late Spring, 2022. Ashes will be scattered on the mountain near their home.
