Ms. Bobbie Jean Hunter Day age 87, of De Queen, AR passed from this life on Thursday, December 16, 2021 in Hot Springs, AR. She was born in De Queen on March 22, 1934 to Robert "Bob" Hunter and Rosa Davis Hunter. In 1954, she married Harold Day and to this union four children were born.

Ms. Day was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, a graduate of De Queen High School and former employee of Gibsons and Fred's. She enjoyed watching movies, listening to music especially Elvis and was a big Razorback fan.

Ms. Day was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Day, daughter, Donna Day, son, Cliff Day, grandson, Andrew Day, brother, Howard Hunter, and parents, Robert and Rosa Hunter.

Left to mourn her passing are two sons, Tracy Day and Michael Day and wife, Janis all of De Queen; five grandchildren, Jessyca Hernandez, Hunter Day, Logan Day, Jacob Fryar, and Amie Heckerman; eight great grandchildren and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and David Frady of De Queen, Sandi and Jeff Stovall of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Lou and Carl Imhof of Rogers, Arkansas; and sister-in-law Rita Hunter of Royal, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services for Mrs. Bobbie will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Ben Lomond Cemetery with Larry Fry officiating under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral home.

General viewing will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the funeral home in De Queen.
