Nancy attended the Bellefonte Area High School. She worked in Housekeeping at Penn State, retiring in 2006 after 15 years of service. She was of the Christian faith.
She enjoyed family gatherings, picnics, bowling, cooking, collecting angels and she looked forward to Christmas each year with her favorite part being the joy of giving and having the family gathered around her home, if filled her heart. She and Jim liked to travel. They traveled many places, but the best trip was when they traveled across the United States. Her life was centered around her children and grandchildren. She was happiest when they would come to visit. She also cherished her time with her best friend since high school days, Stephanie Gehret-Hepford, known to her friends as "Stevie". They were two peas in a pod always making one another laugh and cry and sometimes both over the years! They loved one another dearly.
Nancy is survived by her husband; two sons: Clinton L. Walker of Snow Shoe and Wyatt C. Walker and his wife, Denise, of Pine Glen, one daughter, Monica L. Cingle and her husband, Scott, of Clarence, 10 grandchildren: Heather Rider (Daniel), Cody Walker, Taylor Walker, John Tamburini, Brock Tamburini, Jacey Walker, Joshua Cingle (Beth), Stacia Walker (Brandon), Ashton Walker (Timmy) and Ty Walker; and three great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Jesse J. Walker, four brothers: Amos Lehman, Jr, Thomas Lehman, Joseph Lehman, and Robert Lehman and five sisters: Phyllis Schultz, Cathy Peters, Iva Lehman, Mary Hockenberry, and Gloria Lehman. Nancy was the last of her generation.
