Heather McCauley Parker, 49, of Kevin, Montana passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021. A funeral service will be held on Saturday December 18, 2021 at the Canyon Ferry Baptist Church at 11 AM. Viewing will be available one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow a reception at Sunset Memorial Gardens in the North Valley.

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, Heather McCauley Parker, returned to her Heavenly Father unexpectedly on December 7th, 2021. She was born in Helena, Montana, on July 9th, 1972, and was the daughter of Daryle McCauley and Evon (Anderson).

In Heather's early years, she spent many hours listening to music, singing, and dancing with her best friend, Wendy. They had many adventures and shared precious memories that would last a lifetime. Heather's love of comedies guided their weekends, as did her love of nachos, roller skating, and bike riding. Heather and Wendy agreed to be each other's honorary sister, to stand beside each other through the good and bad of this life.

Throughout Heather's life, the sound of her laughter filled our lives with joy. She loved to laugh, and her smile was infectious and warmed the hearts of everyone she met. Even through struggles, she always found some reason to laugh. She loved to surround herself with funny movies and special people to share them with.

Music was an essential part of Heather's life. Through it, she expressed her spirituality, emotions, and individuality. She not only enjoyed it, but she ministered to others through it. Through this love, she bonded with her husband, David, and they'd hoped to start a radio station as an outreach to encourage people with Christian music. Some of her favorite artists were Toby Mac, Mercy Me, Casting Crowns, and various eighty's music artists.

Her husband David describes her as a good cook, his best friend, and the best wife he could've ever had. She loved to give recipes for wholesome meals to her friends and family. Cooking with healthy ingredients was one of Heather's primary concerns. She made considerable efforts to include them in every meal.

Heather was an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoyed the serene beauty it encompassed. She loved to travel and see new places looking for perfect spots to visit. She loved fresh air, clean water, and the health advantages of being in nature.

Heather's love of laughter, music, cooking, and the outdoors was only surpassed by her love for her family and her God. In Heather's final days, she was enveloped by loved ones physically and virtually. Her daughters and husband sang to her, held her hand, prayed, and stroked her hair. Her son ensured she was getting the best care, and her wishes were followed. She went to her Heavenly home surrounded by the love and care of her family.

Heather was blessed with six beautiful children. Her son, Aaron, proceeded her to Heaven, as did her mother, Evon. She is survived by her husband, David Parker, her father, Daryle McCauley, her children Zachary McCauley, Tiana Bishop, Teriana Williams, Tristana Amundson, Ruth McCauley, and five grandchildren—Melissa and Emma Bishop, Leona and Bradley La Rue, and Keira McCauley.

When you think of Heather, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. She will be missed more than any words could express, but she will be forever in our hearts. Until we meet again, please remember her with her favorite verse:

Isaiah 40:29-31
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
