"Gerald T. Wilkins, 82 of New Portland, father of a Lewiston woman, died Saturday at Farmington while visiting there.
He was born at Wilton, Jan. 30, 1876, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wilkins. He made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Thelma Hewitt at New Portland the past two years after living at Livermore Falls. He also resided many years at New Vineyard.
He left 2 daughters, Mrs. Iva Cascaden of Lewiston and Mrs. Hewitt of New Portland; one son, Carl of Phillips; and several grandchildren.
Gerald was the son of Thomas and Clara (Mosher) Wilkins. On May 12, 1895, Gerald married Ora Belle Chaney. They were the parents of Hazel, Iva, and Earle. They divorced and on May 4, 1915, Gerald married Henrietta (Brown) Parker.
Gerald and Henrietta (Etta Mae) were the parents of: Loyd T.; Thelma L., who was born January 17, 1918 in West Farmington; and Carl Lynwood born April 5, 1920.
There is record of a stillborn on May 18, 1922 to Gerald Wilkins and Henrietta Brown.
