Born on August 28, 1960, he received his education in the Wicomico County public school system. He had a love for basketball and race car driving, graduating from Wicomico Senior High in May of 1978.
At an early age, Terry performed the initial harvesting of trees in the Wicomico County area and was taught by Deacon Parker the skills of being a lumberjack. Deacon Parker was valued as a best friend to Terry.
God and family were the cornerstone of the Carr household and at the age of twelve (12), Terry became an official member of the Church of God and Saints of Christ. The spiritual principles of the organization were the basis for his understanding about life, love and how to treat others. Terry truly valued every aspect of life.
In 1980, Terry became an employee of the Campbell Soup Company where he worked for over ten (10) years. He later became a worker at Wor-Wic Tech Community College in Salisbury, Maryland. At the rightly divine time, Terry started his own business, C&C Cleaning Company.
Terry leaves to cherish loving memories: his wife of nine (9) years, Nina Williams Carr; his children, Deshawn, Terre', Latonia and Nicole; his mother, Leah E. Carr of Salisbury, Maryland; his siblings, Wayne G. Carr (Cynthia) of Bowie, Maryland, Antionette D. Carr of Salisbury, Maryland; Rabbi Marcus L. Carr (Retha) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and David M. Carr of Salisbury, Maryland; grandchildren, Kevin , Tykee, Keayon, Davi and Karter; nieces, Leah and Egypt Carr; nephews, Micah and Marquez Carr; two great nephews and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
