Angela Michelle Jones-Davis, 52, affectionately known as Angie, of Seaford, Delaware, was born August 11, 1968, to Emerson W. Jones Sr. and Barbara J. Jones, in Seaford, Delaware. She was called to her eternal rest on July 13, 2021, at Nanticoke TidalHealth in Seaford, Delaware. Angela married John Wesley Davis III on August 7, 2006, at Mt. Calvary A.M.E. Church, in Concord, Delaware.

Angie was a graduate of Laurel Senior High School, Class of 1986. She attended schools in Seaford School District from K-11th grades. Angie was employed at Walmart Supercenter in Seaford, as a Pharmacy Tech, for 21 years. Her previous employments included the DuPont Plant in Seaford, DE and the Stockley Center in Georgetown, Delaware. She was also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for several agencies. She loved her job and the many people that she met. Angie was very passionate about helping people. She had a contagious smile and was a joy to be around.

Angie accepted Christ as her Lord and Personal Savior. She was a member of The Living Word Christian Ministries in Georgetown, Delaware, under the leadership of Bishop Andre Molock. She was a devoted member. Angie enjoyed reading, dining out, making people laugh and spending time caring for her dogs. She loved her family.

Angie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert Tingle and Audrey Batson; paternal grandparents, Emerson Washington and Ella Mae Jones; uncles, Robert Batson, Timothy DeShields, Eugene Jackson and Norman Cephas; aunts, Phyllis Batson and Deborrah DeShields; nephew, Mekell Horsey; father-in-law, John Davis, Jr.; mother-in-law, Thomasine Jones and stepbrother, Eddie Jones.
