Janice Laura Thompson, age 77, went home with the Lord on December 10, 2021.
Jan was loved by all who knew her. Born to the late Cyril and Laura Phillips in Detroit, Michigan on July 22, 1944, she was the dear sister of Tom Phillips and the late Bruce Phillips. Loving mother of Lauri Palazzolo (Tony) and Kristen Heaney (Ryan) and stepmother of Richard Thompson (Kathy), proud grandmother of Aidan and Parker Heaney and Jack and Oscar Thompson. She is also survived by her dedicated partner Fred Gillespie and many cherished nieces and nephews and treasured friends who were as close as family. Jan spent her time on earth dedicated to living out her Christian faith.
Visitation Saturday from 3-8pm with a 7pm Funeral Service at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd.
