Jane Elaine Ford was born on Wednesday, September 11, 1946, in Reading, Pennsylvania to Wayne Howard and Ada Priscilla (Eisenhouser) Strausser. Jane earned a bachelor's degree of Theology while being a homemaker. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, who read the Bible daily and worshiped at Westernport Assembly of God, her second home.
Jane loved to travel, being silly and making everyone laugh; she was the party. Her love for her 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her bulldog CoCo was abundant, but it was all because of the love that Edgar and she shared. Whenever you saw Jane, Edgar was there beside her. Her name has been carried on through the family as her love for them; Jane is her daughter's middle name; her oldest granddaughter's middle name and her only great-granddaughter has her name. She touched everyone she met, and she will be greatly missed by so many.

Jane is preceded by her parents, Wayne Howard Strausser and Ada Priscilla (Eisenhouser) Strausser. She is survived by her husband, Edgar Gardner Ford; children, Teresa Jane Straniero, David Alan Ford, Jeffrey Wayne Ford and Jonathan Wesley Ford; sister, Annie Rose Wilson; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, 3-5pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Service, Thursday, December 23, 2021, 11am at the funeral home. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
