Lillian Huling Thomas, 93, of Corryton, TN, passed into the arms of Jesus on December 15, 2021. Affectionately called "Lila", she will be remembered most as a devoted wife and mother, but also as someone who made others feel loved and special. Lila grew up in Wartburg, TN, and enjoyed playing high school basketball with her sister Juanita. They would later play basketball at Knoxville Business College. While in Knoxville, Lila met and fell in love with a handsome fella Matthew (Mack) Thomas. Together they had a loving marriage for 67 years. Lila was a faithful, charter member of Emory Valley Baptist Church. Lila was preceded in death by: parents Dr. A.M. & Georgia Huling; brothers A.M. (Betty) and Walter (Mary Jo) Huling; sisters Lorraine (Edwin) Heidel, Eloise (Cornell) Burnett and Willie Mae Huling; and brother-in-law Tom Biddle.
