Ronnie Phillip Shelton was born February 22, 1951 in Guys, TN, the son of the late Elmer Clay Shelton and Dorothy Marie Dickey Shelton.
He was united in marriage to Debbie Derryberry on December 2, 1972. He was a member of the Chewalla Baptist Church. Ronnie was a lifetime logger and he always enjoyed hauling to Knight's sawmill. He also enjoyed the outdoors, coon hunting, farming and spending time with family.
Mr. Shelton departed this life on December 17, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 9 Months, 25 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Shelton of Ramer, TN; two daughters, Angie Maness and husband Jeremy of Selmer, TN, Pepper Sisk and husband Jay of Savannah, TN; three sisters: Julia Steward of Chewalla, TN, Loretta Crum and husband Tommy of Corinth, MS, Shelia Howell and husband Criag of Chewalla, TN; a brother, Keith Shelton of Chewalla, TN; six grandchildren: Madi Rose Powers (John Hunter), Annalei Maness, Tanner Kinkennon (Sloan), Ronnie Kinkennon (Rylee), Sailor Kinkennon (Allison), Cutter Kinkennon; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by a daughter, Faith Rose Shelton; a sister, Patricia Butler of Guys, TN; nephew, Richard Devers.
