Diane Susan Miller, 70, of Canton, passed away on December 8, 2021 at Mercy Hospital.

She was born on June 18, 1951 in Canton, Ohio. Diane graduated from Oakwood High School in 1969, then went on to earn her degree in Music Education from The University of Akron. Diane taught elementary music at Canton City Schools, where she enjoyed teaching up until retirement.

Diane was a long standing member of First Friends Church. She loved gathering with friends at Sunday school and sharing in worship. Diane had a joyful spirit and a contagious laugh. She was an accomplished pianist and her love of classical music led to many meaningful years of watching the Canton Symphony perform.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Jenn. She is survived by her brother, David.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents Rosina and Henry Miller, and brother Daniel Miller.
We find comfort in knowing that Diane is reunited with her parents and brother in Heaven alongside her little dog Zacchaeus, who is barking (nonstop) with joy.

Diane's daughter would like to thank the nursing staff in the Covid Unit at Mercy Hospital for their compassion, kindness, and the care shown to both her mother and the family.
A private burial was held at Sunset Hills with immediate family. A celebration of life with friends and extended family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canton Symphony Orchestra or First Friends Church.
