Royce E. Curlis, 83, of Alma, died Sunday, June 1, 1997 at the Michigan Masonic Home.
Funeral Services are Saturday, June 7, 1997 at Doig Chapel in the Michigan Masonic Home at 1:30p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Harold Prong, burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Dewey Funeral Home in Alma handled the arrangements.
Mr. Curlis was born the son of Walter W. Curlis and Mable (Morris) Curlis. He married Impi I Maki in 1939 in Sault Ste. Marie.
He served as Grand Master of Masons in 1974 and was a member of Bethel Lodge No. 368 in Sault Ste. Marie. He served in WWII in the US Coast Guard and worked in the Electric Power Industry.
He is survived by his wife, Impi Curlis of Alma
