Graveside services for Ruby Fay Turner, 99 of Elm Mott, formerly of Palestine will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Woodson Cemetery in Throckmorton County. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Turner was born November 13, 1922 in Weatherford, Texas to J. R. and Alice Maude Fox. She passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at her residence in Elm Mott.

She was a devoted member of the First Christian Church in Big Spring & Palestine. If anything needed to be done at church, she was there. In her younger years she taught Sunday School, she was vice president of her ladies group & volunteered in the kitchen for any activity.

She was a loving mother & a devoted aunt to many nieces & nephews. She adored her grandchildren & great grandchildren. It was nothing for her to get down on the floor to play with them. She was the beacon of our family.

Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Sarge Turner; and her brothers Jack, Roy, Ray, Bob and Robert Fox.

She is survived by her daughter Betty Faye Sullivan; her sons Jerry Don Turner and Gary Ray Turner; eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren.
