BAXTER, Donald S. – Of Somerville, December 15, 2021.
Beloved husband of 43 years to Marie (MacDonald) Baxter of Somerville. Marie was the love of his life, who he treasured. Along with his son, Kyle and his wife Heather and his daughter Devin and her partner George.
Donald also leaves his twin brother Dana and his wife Virginia of Hingham, along with their four daughters and seven grandchildren.
Donald grew up in Hingham and attended Hingham Public Schools before entering the US Navy in the Vietnam Conflict. Donald was Kyle's hockey coach and loved every minute he spent on the ice with his son. Donald cherished his loving relationship with his daughter Devin and for her heart felt love for him.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him. God bless him and may he rest in peace.
Relatives and friends are invited to the wake. Calling hours will be held at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Monday December 20th from 3-7pm.
Facial masks must be worn during Funeral Home visitation.
Interment will take place at 10 am on December 21 at the MA National Cemetery, Bourne, which will be private.
