Barbara Faye Hill, 70, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life on December 13, 2021.

She retired from State of Ark. after serving 25 years. She was also a servant of God, a pianist at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church for over 20 years and a piano teacher.

She is survived by her two children: Keisha Hill, Shanece (Marquis) Jackson; two grandchildren, Amber Getter, Taylar Hill; six sisters, three brothers and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Posey; grandfather, Samuel Posey; father O.Z. Hodge and mother, Mamie Louise Hodge.

The Hill family would like to send a special thank you to her caretaker and comforter Selmita Valrie.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Little Rock. Burial services will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery. Services entrusted to Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S Chester St, Little Rock, Ark. 72202.
