DeLoss Wright "Dee" Greenlee, 83, of Fillmore passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Dee was born in Coatesville on May 30, 1938, the son of Lloyd Francis and Leona Pearl (Wright) Greenlee.

He was a 1956 graduate of Fillmore High School.

Mr. Greenlee was a member of Fillmore United Methodist Church. He was inducted into the Fillmore Little League Baseball Hall of Fame for his achievements as a coach for more than 35 years. He retired from GTE after 35 years of service and worked in various other capacities after retirement. Dee was a longtime coach in Putnam County, coaching Little League baseball, softball and high school baseball.

He was a lifelong loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and an avid lover of high school sports, where he made many great friends over the years. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, his high school sweetheart, Letitia Greenlee; three children, Doug Greenlee (Shelly), Sandy Welty (Kent) and Troy Greenlee (Becky); a sister, Twyla Habig; 10 grandchildren, Erin Nixon (Joe), Erica Greenlee, Tyler Welty (Sara), Cory Welty (Ronica), Nathan Welty (Grace), Trey Greenlee, R.J. Greenlee, Janae Greenlee, Jordan Hickam (Kellie) and Rodney Ford; three great-grandchildren, Joey Nixon, Ty Nixon and Brynlee Welty; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Keith Greenlee.

Services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 20 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastors Brian Palmer-Smith and Steve Ailes officiating. Burial will follow in Coatesville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
