David C. Kratz, age 75, of Camillus, NY, passed away December 14, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital with family at his side. He was born March 12, 1946 to the late Carl and Dorothy Kratz of Syracuse, NY. David graduated from Central Tech High School and Elmira College with a degree in biology. He worked many years in sales at Corning Inc., Blue M Equipment Company and Watmet Inc, then ended his working career at Lowe's in Camillus. Dave enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, fishing and golfing. He followed SU basketball and football and the NY Giants. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeanette, two sons David (Daysie) Kratz of Ridgefield, CT and Brian (late wife Jill) Kratz of York, PA, daughter Elizabeth (Robert) Hill of Pittsford, NY, and sister Sharon (late husband Michael) Powell of Punta Gorda, FL. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A private interment will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Warner's, NY at a later date.
