Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen Romuel and Teresa Durbin Toon; brother, Romuel Edward Toon; and sister, Ann Kurzendoerfer.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and had retired from Courier Journal Litho / Ivy Hill Graphics after 37 years. He was a founding member of the Breckenridge Estates Neighborhood Association (BENA) and was a board member and area representative.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 59 years, Arlene; daughter, Shari King (Darrell); brother, James Albert Toon, and many special nieces and nephews.
The family has chosen cremation, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
