Jessica Leigh Williamson, 34, from Elkview, WV, left this earth to join her daughter, Evelyn Rose, in Heaven on December 12, 2021.
Jessica was a loving mother to her precious son, Abel, a devoted daughter and best friend to her mother, Joann, a dedicated sister, proud aunt, and cherished granddaughter. She will be missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She also had a large family of friends at Kanawha County Schools, where she was employed. Elkview Bus Garage and Bridge/Clendenin Elementary School will never be the same. She was loved so very much and her smile and her laughter will forever ring in those buildings. She was also an Army veteran. Her family would like to thank the nurses at CAMC Memorial, 4 South and April in Housekeeping for all their kindness, love, and support. We will never forget how you cared for her.
A few words on paper do not begin to describe the person that Jessica was. She always had a ready smile and a helping hand for anyone who needed it. She greeted her students with a good morning and have a good day and she meant it, just like she meant it when she said it to any one of her coworkers and her friends. Hearts have been broken because we do not understand, but we trust that God, in His infinite wisdom, will heal our hearts that now bear a hole.
Services will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Hafer's Funeral Home, Elkview, WV, with family arriving at 12, family and friends at 1:00, and the service to begin at 2:00, with Dave Mollohan, coworker and friend, officiating. Her body will be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for monetary donations to the funeral home to offset the unexpected cost now placed on the family.
