Clayton was born to James Neal and Marchelle Neal and was the youngest of 12 children growing up, mostly in McCammon. Clay attended Mountain View Elementary, Marsh Valley Middle School then moved to Pocatello and went to Pocatello High School. Clay later got his GED and started classes at ISU to become a drug and alcohol counselor. He met Nickcole Young, they married and had two amazing boys Alen James Eugene Neal and Ayden Marshall Neal. Clay loved his boys very much and was so proud of them. Clay worked various jobs in the restaurant industry but had to go on disability due to a back injury. Clay enjoyed hunting and fishing, really all things having to do outdoors in nature. Clay loved all things cars from a very young age. As soon as he could walk, he really just ran all over making car sounds and acting like he had a steering wheel in his hands to get to where he was going. He was a pretty good backyard mechanic at a young age and loved working on cars. Survived by siblings Chris Neal of Billings, MT, Mike Neal, Tresia (Allen) Pierson of Pocatello, Dale Neal of Payette ID, Angela (Toad) Christiansen, April May, Wyatt (Alicia) Reese all of Pocatello; precedied by son Brandon George Neal, dad James Neal and stepmom Jeanne Neal, mom Marchelle Neal and stepdad Camp Neal, brothers Alvin Neal, Bryon Neal, and sisters Pam Tarbot, and Annetta Johansen.
