NILES — Mary A. Vincent, 89, of Niles, peacefully passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, with her family by her side, at St. John's Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born Sept. 17, 1932, in Warren, the daughter of James and Rose Vendemia November.
Mary was a 1951 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and was employed in the grocery industry for 36 years, retiring in 1994.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles and a church festival volunteer who made pizzas for the church, organized casino bus trips and enjoyed going to church festivals and polka dancing.
To all who were privileged to know her, Mary leaves with them memories of laughter, dancing, unwavering love for her family, loyalty, support for her friends and a perseverance to rise above life's challenges, stronger and always faithful.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Frank Vincent Jr. of Arizona; her daughter, Angela Marie Vincent of Liberty; two brothers, Pete November of Warren and James November Jr. and his wife, Helen of Newton Falls; a sister, Lavern Lipo of Sharon, Pa.; five grandchildren, David, Christopher, Kurt, Adam and Francesca; one great-granddaughter, Madison; and many beautiful nieces and nephews, with whom she was always so close.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Ann Diamond; three brothers, Theodore November, William November and Eugene November; and three sisters, Pauline Amprim, Sylvia Giddings and Dora Stocz.
Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m., with a 10:30 a.m. prayer service Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, also in Niles.
Facial coverings are mandatory for all friends and family coming to pay their respects at the funeral home and at the church. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in Mary's name, to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio 44446.
