Richard Douglas Lynch aka "Stitch", age 58, born December 10,1962, went home to be with the Lord December 9, 2021. He was born in Circleville, Ohio and raised in Dayton, Ohio.

Richard enjoyed playing sports. He ran track and played basketball at his alma mater, Colonel White High School, where he established many of his lifelong friends. Upon graduating from high school in 1981, he served in the U. S. Army and National Guard. After his service in the military, he began his career in the cleaning industry which spanned over 30 years. Most recently, he was an employee with St. Peters Catholic School, and was the owner of Lynch Cleaning Services.

He was a jack-of-all-trades, a very present husband and father, a father-figure to some and a leader and role model to others. Richard was well respected and loved and will forever be missed by all.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Lynch; mother-in-law, Hattie Bradshaw; sister, Dawn Lowe; nephew, Djuan Scott.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Lois; children, Darian and Dominique; father, Don (Betty); brothers, Phillip (Toni), Don (Myra) and Jeffery (Toni) Lynch, Christopher Lowe; brother-in-law, Wayne Bradshaw; sister-in-law, Susan (Charles) Jordan; a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral service will be held 10 am Tuesday, December 21, at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 2262 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 9-10 am. (Mask Required). Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
