Thelma L. Green, 88, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at her home.
Born on September 29, 1933, in Altoona, PA, she was a daughter of the late James F. and Mildred (Zierer) McIntire.
A graduate of Altoona Catholic High School, she held various jobs throughout her life, but was most recently employed by Wrights Fabrics and Lipton.
Thelma enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Happy Boombadeers, Lehigh Valley Cloggers, and volunteered with Celtic Classic.
She was a longtime member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her son, Thomas J. Green; brother: Thomas McIntire; and sister: Joan McIntire.
She will be lovingly remembered by two sons: Gerald J. Green of Bethlehem, and Robert J. Green of Northampton; three daughters: Becky Hajdinyak (Steve) of Kissimmee, FL; Kathleen Martucci (Gary) of Bethlehem; and Joni Elekes (Terry) of Catasauqua, PA; brother: Lawrence McIntire of Altoona, PA; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A viewing will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, on Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. A prayer service will begin a 2:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1400 4th Avenue, Altoona, PA, on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 1:00pm.
