Judy Carol Langston, 74, of San Angelo passed away peacefully on December 14, 2021. Judy was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 15, 1947, to John and Anna Lou Hyder.
She grew up in Mesa, Arizona where she attended grade school and high school. She married the love of her life on August 5, 1966, and had 4 children, Marie, Christine, Abraham, and Rachel. In 1971 they left Mesa, Arizona, to move to Lubbock, Texas for the Sunset School of Preaching, after Lubbock they moved to Maseru, Lesotho in southern Africa. They then lived in Bangs, Texas for 8 years and Jal, New Mexico for 9 years, then in San Angelo since 1999. They were active members at Southgate Church of Christ at which she was a teacher for 1st grade students.
Survivors include husband, Milton R. Langston, children, Marie Ledbetter and husband Robert, Christine Crowson and husband Murphy, Abraham and wife Kristi, and Rachel Naugle and husband Mark, grandchildren, Amber Cochran and husband, Philip, Johnathan Ledbetter, Morwyn Ledbetter, Dustin Langston and wife Taylor, Lori Denton and husband Davis, Michelle McFetridge and husband Jacob, Stephen Crowson, Mathew Crowson, Noble Naugle, Phoebe Naugle, RaeAn Crowson, and Oswin Naugle, Great Grandchildren, Emmerick, Aurelia, Corwin, Carter, and two on the way. She is also survived by her sister Becky L. Waite.
Preceded in death by her parents John and Anna Lou Hyder, and sister Barbara A. Hyder.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Southgate Church of Christ at 11:00am with Paul Shero officiating.
