Anna Sherlene Johnson, age 81, passed away on Dec. 5, 2021 at her home in Bella Vista, Arkansas, where she and husband of 59 yrs., Daniel Johnson have lived for the last eight years. Sherlene was born in 1940 in Walters, Oklahoma to Charles and Opal (Dude) Veach.

She graduated from Walters High School in 1958 and Cameron College in Lawton, Oklahoma in 1960. She and Dan lived in Wichita Falls, Texas, northern Illinois, Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona and Lavaca, Arkansas before moving to Bella Vista in 2013.

Sherlene and Dan were members of the Western Arkansas Harley Club and the NWA Miata Club. Her passions were her family, decorating her home and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald, Geraldine, Barbara, Linda and Edward.

She is survived by husband, Daniel; daughter, Julie and son-in-law, Bryan Nichols; grandchildren, Jessica Moore (husband, Dalvin Moore), Bradley Niblett, Sarah Collins, Hannah Niblett; great grandchildren, Kinsley Lawson, Carter Lawson, Tristan Moore, Dalvin Moore, Jr., Wesley Niblett; sister, Kathy Wheeler (husband, Tom Wheeler) of Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021 with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m., both in the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel.

She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
