Religious Figure. Blessed Sister M. Imelda (Jadwiga) Zak, CSFN was one of eleven Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth who was executed by the Gestapo on August 1, 1943. Saint Pope John Paul II beatified Sr. Imelda along with the ten other sisters on March 5, 2000.
