South Sioux City - Nellie Beatrice Sanders, 87, of Lander, Wyo., formerly of South Sioux City, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, in Lander. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home In South Sioux City, with the Rev. Bill Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Visitation will be 3 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Sanders was born Feb. 12, 1913, in South Sioux City, the daughter of Albert and Isabelle M. (Kinball) Austin. She married Robert T. Sanders Jr. on Aug. 6, 1930, in Sioux City. She was employed with S. S. Kresge Department Store In Sioux City for 15 years, as a file clerk with Association of Retired Persons for 15 years and with Park Variety Store In Bellflower, Calif. Her husband died Aug. 6, 1970, in Lakewood, Calif. She was a former member of St. Paul United Methodist Church In South Sioux City. Survivors include a daughter, Gwendolyn Herbst of Lander; a sister, Louise Viers of South Sioux City; two grandchildren (redacted); two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Eugene, Kenneth and Dan Viers, Debbie Herbst, Buck Duncan and Jeff Belew.
