Anna Lewis (nee Caruso) 98, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2021. She was born on May 27, 1923 in Newark, NJ. Anna graduated from Irvington High School and worked at Lionel Trains where she met and fell in love with our father. They married on November 21, 1948 in Newark, and later moved to Irvington where they raised their three children.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was the most important and joyful part of her life. She touched so many throughout her long life and her unlimited kindness, warmth and strength will stay with us forever.
She is predeceased by her husband, Frank, brothers Paul, Vito, Frank and George Caruso, and sister Stella Ventola.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Moffett and her husband Rod, daughter Sharon DeAngelis and her husband Michael and her son Frank.
She was the beloved Nana to her grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike), Ryan (Kristie), Thomas, Jaclyn (Brian), and Michael (Kristina), and cherished GeGe to her great grandsons, Nicholas and Owen. She was also adored by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is private for immediate family. Funeral Service will be on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:30 am at St. Agnes Church,
332 Madison Hill Road, Clark, N.J. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
