Patricia "Tere" Martinez, age 71, peacefully passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021. She was born March 16, 1950 to the late Juan Silva and Maria Petra Garcia, in La Zarca, Durango, Mexico. . She worked for 22 years for the Ysleta School District and was recognized for her many accomplishments as Cafeteria Manager for Eastwood High School and Del Valle High School. She was also an active member of the Eastside Senior Citizens Center. Patricia was a fun-loving woman who cherished spending time with family and friends. It is beyond words how deeply she will be missed but she leaves us with all the beautiful memories she created with us to treasure. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Juan Martinez; daughters Maria Isabel Roper (Steven) and Roxanne Martinez (David Cubert) and grandson's Keoni and Kendall Mangham. Memorial Service will be held from 5 - 9 pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Perches Funeral Home East, 2280 Joe Battle.
