David enjoyed spending time with Brandy, his beloved cocker spaniel, his family and watching old westerns on tv after his early retirement.
David is survived by his daughter, Margaret "Maggie" Griffin of Tomah, WI, his son, Mike (Beth) Griffin of Hixton, WI, his step-grandchildren; Reece Kohn, Kelsie Finnigan and Connor Finnigan. He is also survived by two brothers; Peter (Nancy) Griffin of MI, Jack (Lynette) Griffin of Cataract, WI, five sisters; Maria (Wendell) Hagg of FL, Diana Daddona of FL, Judy (Mark) Zentner of MI, Sandy (David) Farlow of MI, Vevah (Chris) Carey of MI, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Lyn Griffin and Sarah (Page) Wright, his wife, Margaret, his brother; Jimmy Wright and two sisters, Janet Jones and Yvonne (Robert) McNees.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial with full military honors will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements.
