Final resting place will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 20, 2021 at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Linda Jo Cox, age 76, of Thomasville passed away on December 15, 2021, at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Cairo on February 7, 1945, a daughter to the late Dorothy Tipper and William Green Hinson. Here siblings were Robert Edward Hinson, Dorothy Louise Hinson McEown, and Mary Ann Hinson Fletcher.
Linda was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly.
She married Michael Henry Cox on March 25, 1972.
Linda enjoyed gardening, reading, word searches, arts and craft, and supporting the Boy Scouts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael Henry Cox, brother Robert Edward Hinson, and sister Dorothy Louise McEown.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Friday, December 17, at Allen and Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linda's honor to the American Lung Association.
