Judy was born on April 20, 1943 in Orrville to the late William and Mary Hill. She married Leslie Jackson on July 15, 1961.
Judy spent her life as a homemaker. Over the years she enjoyed doing for others, being involved in various church activities, being part of a homemakers club, caring for children and baking. She was known for her delicious pies and cinnamon rolls. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by many.
Judy was a member of Cornerstone Community Church in Dalton. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leslie on Sept 2, 2018; brother Lyle Hill in 2014 and sister Arlene Gerber in 2015. She leaves behind four children, James (Cindy) Jackson of Orrville, Jean ( Tim ) Steiner of Dalton, Julie ( Bill ) McNew of Orrville, Jeff ( Tammy ) Jackson of Wooster; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and another one due in February; brother Willard ( Elaine ) Hill of Texas and a sister Vicki Hill of Wooster.
Due to the pandemic, no public services will be held at this time. A private family burial is planned and will take place at Newman's Creek Cemetery in North Lawrence.
Gresser Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
The family would like to thank the Apostolic Christian Home for the great care she received over the past three years.
