Mrs. Gibson passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at Legacy at Town Creek in Palestine. She was born July 31, 1932 in Denton, Texas to Robert Rhea and Helen (Taylor) Goode.
Mrs. Gibson was a retired school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband R. C. (Robert Claude) Gibson; sisters Elizabeth Goode Garcia, Sara Goode Wallace and Mary Helen Goode Corley; and son Thomas Randall Gibson.
She is survived by her son David Earl Gibson; brother Ben Taylor Goode & wife Margaret; granddaughter Shellie Gibson Peiffer & husband Paul; and great grandchildren Briley Patterson and Kollin Peiffer.
